Translations

(Etheridge) But they thought within themselves, saying, (It is) because bread we have not taken.

(Murdock) And they reasoned among themselves, and said, [it was] because they had taken no bread.

(Lamsa) And they were reasoning among themselves and saying, It is because we have not brought bread.

(KJV) And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.
