Translations

(Etheridge) These have power to shut heaven, that rain it may not rain in those days ; [" Days of prophecy."-POLYGLOTS.] and power have they over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague as many times as they will.

(Murdock) They have power to shut up heaven, so that the rain shall not fall in those days: and they have power over the waters, to turn them into blood; and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they please.

(Lamsa) These have power to control the sky, so that it will not rain in those days: and have power over waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

(KJV) These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
