Matthew 17:24 - ܘܟ݂ܰܕ݂ ܐܶܬ݂ܰܘ ܠܰܟ݂ܦ݂ܰܪܢܰܚܽܘܡ ܩܪܶܒ݂ܘ ܗܳܢܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܢܳܣܒ݁ܺܝܢ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܙܽܘܙܺܝܢ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܣܶܦ݂ ܪܺܫܳܐ ܠܘܳܬ݂ ܟ݁ܺܐܦ݂ܳܐ ܘܶܐܡܰܪܘ ܠܶܗ ܪܰܒ݁ܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܠܳܐ ܝܳܗܶܒ݂ ܬ݁ܪܶܝܢ ܙܽܘܙܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And when they came to Kapher-nachum, they who took the two zuzis, the head-silver, approached Kipha and said to him, Your master, doth he not give his two zuzeen ? ^{[The zuz, or zuza, was a silver coin, value one drachm.]}

(Murdock) And when they came to Capernaum, those who receive the two drachmas of capitation money came to Cephas, and said to him: Doth not your rabbi pay his two drachmas ?

(Lamsa) And when they came to Capernaum, those who collect two coins of silver as headtax came to Peter and said to him, Would not your master give his two coins?

(KJV) And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
