Translations

(Etheridge) When the unclean spirit shall have gone forth from a child of man, he wandereth through places that have no waters in them, and seeketh repose, but findeth (it) not.

(Murdock) And when an unclean spirit goeth out of a man, it wandereth in places where is no water, and seeketh comfort and findeth [it] not.

(Lamsa) When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, it travels in places where there is no water, and seeks rest, and does not find it.

(KJV) When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.
