John 7:52 - ܥܢܰܘ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܠܶܗ ܠܡܳܐ ܐܳܦ݂ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܡܶܢ ܓ݁ܠܺܝܠܳܐ ܐܰܢ݈ܬ݁ ܒ݁ܨܺܝ ܘܰܚܙܺܝ ܕ݁ܰܢܒ݂ܺܝܳܐ ܡܶܢ ܓ݁ܠܺܝܠܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܩܳܐܶܡ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) They answered and said to him, Art thou also of Galila ? Investigate, and see, that the Prophet from Galila ariseth not.

(Murdock) They answered, and said to him: Art thou also from Galilee ? Search, and see, that no prophet ariseth from Galilee.

(Lamsa) They answered and said to him, Why, are you also from Galilee? Search and see that no prophet will rise up from Galilee.

(KJV) They answered and said unto him, Art thou also of Galilee? Search, and look: for out of Galilee ariseth no prophet.
