Translations

(Etheridge) Or do you vainly think that the scripture saith, that In emulation desireth the Spirit who dwelleth in us?

(Murdock) Or think ye, that the scripture hath vainly said: The spirit dwelling in us lusteth with envy?

(Lamsa) Or do you think that the scripture said in vain, The pride that dwells in us is provoked by jealousy?

(KJV) Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?
