Hebrews 8:7 - ܐܶܠܽܘ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܐܺܝܬ݂ܶܝܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܩܰܕ݂ܡܳܝܬ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܠܳܐ ܪܶܫܝܳܢ ܠܰܝܬ݁ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܐܰܬ݂ܪܳܐ ܠܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܕ݁ܬ݂ܰܪܬ݁ܶܝܢ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) For if the first [covenant] had been faultless, no place had there been for this second.

(Murdock) For, if the first [covenant] had been faultless, there would have been no place for this second [one].

(Lamsa) For if the first covenant had been faultless, then there would have been no need for the second.

(KJV) For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.
