Translations

(Etheridge) For it is not he who glorifieth himself who is approved, but he who is glorified of the Lord.

(Murdock) For not he who praiseth himself, is approved; but he whom the Lord praiseth.

(Lamsa) For it is not the one who praises himself who is approved, but the one whom the LORD commends.

(KJV) For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
