Translations

(Etheridge) but I say, the conscience, not yours, but his who told you. But why is my liberty to be ruled by the conscience of others ?

(Murdock) The conscience I speak of, is not your own, but his who told you. But why is my liberty judged of, by the conscience of others ?

(Lamsa) But the conscience of which I speak, is not yours, but the conscience of him who told you: for why is my liberty judged by another man's conscience?

(KJV) Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another man's conscience?
