Translations

(Etheridge) Be humbled and sorrowful, and let your laughter be turned into grief, and your gladness into anxiety.

(Murdock) Humble yourselves, and mourn: let your laughter be turned into mourning, and your joy into grief.

(Lamsa) Humble yourselves, and mourn; let your laughter be turned to weeping, and your joy to sorrow.

(KJV) Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
