Translations

(Etheridge) I know that you are the seed of Abraham; but you seek to kill me, because in my word you do not concur. ^{[Or, acquiesce.]}

(Murdock) I know that ye are the children of Abraham; but ye seek to kill me, because ye do not acquiesce in my word.

(Lamsa) I know you are the seed of Abraham; but still you want to kill me, because you have no room in you for my word.

(KJV) I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
