Romans 4:18 - ܘܰܕ݂ܠܳܐ ܣܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܠܣܰܒ݂ܪܳܐ ܗܰܝܡܶܢ ܕ݁ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܐܰܒ݂ܳܐ ܠܣܽܘܓ݂ܳܐܐ ܕ݁ܥܰܡ݈ܡܶܐ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܬ݂ܺܝܒ݂ ܕ݁ܗܳܟ݂ܰܢܳܐ ܢܶܗܘܶܐ ܙܰܪܥܳܟ݂ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) and who, without hope, unto hope believed that he should be the father of many nations, as it is written, that " so shall be thy seed."

(Murdock) And without hope, he confided in the hope of becoming the father of a multitude of nations; (as it is written: So will thy seed be.)

(Lamsa) For he who was hopeless trusted in hope, that he might become the father of many peoples, as it is written, So shall your seed be.

(KJV) Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.
