Translations
(Etheridge) that we who first hoped in the Meshiha, should be to the honour of his glory.
(Murdock) that we should be they who first hoped in the Messiah, to the honor of his glory.
(Lamsa) That we should become the first to trust in Christ, to his honor and his glory:
(KJV) That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
