Khabouris Codex - Download Individual Pages

On this page you can download individual pages from S. P. Silver's magnificant work. All files are in the Microsoft Word 97-2003 format. In order to properly display the Syriac characters you are adviced to use the Estrangelo (V1.1) font, which is graciously offered by Paul Younan who is the creator and founder of www.peshitta.org. Six pages (three pairs) in the Gospel of Matthew, Pages 013, 014, 039, 040, 053 and 054 are written in the text type East Adiabene, which is represented by the font East Adiabene (V1.1).

All files are sorted by page number and arranged into three columns which are grouped together by book. See tables below. In the Syriac column you will find the Khabouris Codex transcription done by S. P. Silver, and in the English column you will find the matching english translation and comments by Dr. John Wesley Etheridge. The Original column holds a link to an image of the corresponding page in the original Khabouris Codex (images are located at whyagain.com).
