Translations

(Etheridge) THEN Jeshu was led by the Spirit of Holiness into the desert, that he should be tempted by the Accuser.

(Murdock) Then was Jesus led by the Holy Spirit into the desert, to be tempted by the Calumniator

(Lamsa) THEN Jesus was carried away by the Holy Spirit into the wilderness, to be tempted by the adversary.

(KJV) Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
