Translations

(Etheridge) Then did they spit in his face, and smote him; and others struck him,

(Murdock) Then they spit in his face, and buffeted him, and others smote him,

(Lamsa) Then they spat in his face, and struck him on his head, and others beat him,

(KJV) Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,
