Matthew 14:24 - ܘܶܐܠܦ݂ܳܐ ܪܰܚܺܝܩܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܡܶܢ ܐܰܪܥܳܐ ܐܶܣܛܕ݂ܰܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝܶܐܐ ܟ݁ܰܕ݂ ܡܶܫܬ݁ܰܓ݂ܫܳܐ ܣܰܓ݁ܺܝ ܡܶܢ ܓ݁ܰܠ݈ܠܶܐ ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܠܩܽܘܒ݂ܠܳܗ ܗ݈ܘܳܬ݂ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But the vessel was distant from the land many stadia, being greatly beaten with the waves, for the wind was against them.

(Murdock) And the ship was distant from land many furlongs: meanwhile it was much tossed by the waves; for the wind was adverse to it.

(Lamsa) But the boat was many miles away from the land, tossed by the waves, for the wind was against it.

(KJV) But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.
