Translations

(Etheridge) and they saw some of his disciples eating bread with their hands not washed; and they complained.

(Murdock) And they saw some of his disciples eating bread, with their hands unwashed; and they censured it.

(Lamsa) And they saw some of his disciples eating bread with their hands unwashed; and they reproached them.

(KJV) And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashen, hands, they found fault.
