Luke 2:8 - ܪܳܥܰܘܳܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܒ݁ܰܐܬ݂ܪܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܫܪܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܬ݁ܰܡܳܢ ܘܢܳܛܪܺܝܢ ܡܰܛܰܪܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܠܺܠܝܳܐ ܥܰܠ ܡܰܪܥܝܳܬ݂ܗܽܘܢ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But there were shepherds in the country who were staying there, and keeping watch by night over their flocks.

(Murdock) And there were shepherds in that region, who abode there and kept watch of their flocks by night.

(Lamsa) Now there were shepherds in that region, where they were staying, and they were watching their flocks at night.

(KJV) And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
