Translations

(Etheridge) They say, Why yet need we witnesses ? for we have heard from his mouth.

(Murdock) They say: What further need have we of witnesses? For we have heard from his own mouth.

(Lamsa) And they said, Why then do we need witnesses? for we have heard it from his own mouth.

(KJV) And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
