Translations

(Etheridge) Hath not the scripture said, That from the seed of David, and from Beth-lechem the town of David, cometh the Meshicha ?

(Murdock) Doth not the scriptures say, That Messiah cometh of the seed of David, and from Bethlehem the town of David ?

(Lamsa) Does not the scripture say that Christ will come from the seed of David, and from Bethlehem, the town of David?

(KJV) Hath not the scripture said, That Christ cometh of the seed of David, and out of the town of Bethlehem, where David was?
