Translations

(Etheridge) But the sea had risen against them, because a great wind blew.

(Murdock) And the sea was boisterous against them, for a violent wind was blowing.

(Lamsa) And the sea became rough, because a strong wind was blowing.

(KJV) And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew.
