Translations

(Etheridge) The servant of the king saith to him, My lord, come down ere my child die !

(Murdock) The king's servant said to him: My lord, come down, before the child dieth.

(Lamsa) The king's servant said to him, My Lord, come down before the boy is dead.

(KJV) The nobleman saith unto him, Sir, come down ere my child die.
