Translations

(Etheridge) For not yet knew they the scriptures, that he was to rise from the dead.

(Murdock) For they had not yet learned from the scriptures, that he was to arise from the dead.

(Lamsa) For they did yet not understand from the scripture, that he had to rise from the dead.

(KJV) For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
