Translations

(Etheridge) And he commanded that the chariot should stand; and they descended both of them to the water, and Philipos baptized that eunuch.

(Murdock) And he commanded the chariot to stop; and they both went down to the water, and Philip baptized the eunuch.

(Lamsa) And he commanded the chariot be stopped: and both went down into the water, and Philip baptized the eunuch.

(KJV) And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
