Translations

(Etheridge) And when we had passed a certain isle that is called Cyra; we could scarcely take up the boat.

(Murdock) And when we had passed a certain island, called Cyra, we could hardly retain the boat.

(Lamsa) And as we passed under the lee of an island which is called Clau'da, we could hardly man the ship's boat.

(KJV) And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
