Translations

(Etheridge) For while free of all men, to all men I subject myself, that the many I may gain.

(Murdock) Being free from them all, I have made myself servant to every man; that I might gain many:

(Lamsa) Because I am free from all these things, I have served all men that I may gain many.

(KJV) For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more.
