1Corinthians 8:7 - ܐܶܠܳܐ ܠܳܐ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܒ݁ܟ݂ܽܠܢܳܫ ܝܺܕ݂ܰܥܬ݂ܳܐ ܐܺܝܬ݂ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܰܒ݂ܬ݂ܺܐܪܬ݁ܗܽܘܢ ܥܕ݂ܰܡܳܐ ܠܗܳܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܰܠ ܦ݁ܬ݂ܰܟ݂ܪܶܐ ܐܰܝܟ݂ ܕ݁ܰܕ݂ܒ݂ܺܝܚܳܐ ܐܳܟ݂ܠܺܝܢ ܘܡܶܛܽܠ ܕ݁ܰܟ݂ܪܺܝܗܳܐ ܬ݁ܺܐܪܬ݁ܗܽܘܢ ܡܶܬ݁ܛܰܘܫܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But not in every man is this knowledge; for there are some who in their conscience until now (believe) that, with respect to idols, as of that which hath been sacrificed we eat. And because of weakness their conscience is defiled.

(Murdock) But there is not [this] knowledge in every man; for there are some, who, to the present time, in their conscience, eat [it] as an offering to idols; and because their conscience is weak, it is defiled.

(Lamsa) Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with clear conscience eat that which has been offered to idols as a sacrifice; and their conscience being weak is defiled.

(KJV) Howbeit there is not in every man that knowledge: for some with conscience of the idol unto this hour eat it as a thing offered unto an idol; and their conscience being weak is defiled.
