Translations

(Etheridge) For it is to be that contentions be among you, that they who are approved with you may be known.

(Murdock) For there are to be contentions among you, that the approved among you may be known.

(Lamsa) For controversies are bound to be among you, that those who are approved may be made manifest among you.

(KJV) For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.
