Romans 7:6 - ܗܳܫܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܬ݂ܒ݁ܰܛܰܠܢ ܡܶܢ ܢܳܡܽܘܣܳܐ ܘܡܺܝܬ݂ܢ ܠܗܰܘ ܕ݁ܰܐܚܺܝܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܠܰܢ ܕ݁ܰܢܫܰܡܶܫ ܡܶܟ݁ܺܝܠ ܒ݁ܚܰܕ݂݈ܬ݂ܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܪܽܘܚܳܐ ܘܠܳܐ ܒ݁ܥܰܬ݁ܺܝܩܽܘܬ݂ ܟ݁ܬ݂ܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) but now we are loosed from the law, and are dead to that which held us, that we might serve henceforth in the newness of the spirit, and not in the oldness of the writing.

(Murdock) But now we are absolved from the law, and are dead to that which held us in its grasp: that we might henceforth serve in the newness of the spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.

(Lamsa) But now we are freed from the law, being dead to that which had hold upon us; and we should henceforth serve in newness of spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.

(KJV) But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
