Matthew 27:29 - ܘܰܓ݂ܕ݂ܰܠܘ ܟ݁ܠܺܝܠܳܐ ܕ݁ܥܰܘܙܢܳܝܶܐ ܘܣܳܡܘ ܒ݁ܪܺܫܶܗ ܘܩܰܢܝܳܐ ܒ݁ܝܰܡܺܝܢܶܗ ܘܰܒ݂ܪܰܟ݂ܘ ܥܰܠ ܒ݁ܽܘܪܟ݁ܰܝܗܽܘܢ ܩܕ݂ܳܡܰܘܗ݈ܝ ܘܰܡܒ݂ܰܙܚܺܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܒ݁ܶܗ ܘܳܐܡܪܺܝܢ ܫܠܳܡ ܡܰܠܟ݁ܳܐ ܕ݁ܺܝܗܽܘܕ݂ܳܝܶܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) And they interwove a crown of thorns, and set it upon his head, and a cane in his right hand: and they kneeled upon their knees before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, king of the Jihudoyee !

(Murdock) And they wove a crown of thorns, and set it on his head, and [put] a reed in his hand, and they bowed their knees before him, and mocked him, and said: Hail, thou king of the Jews.

(Lamsa) And they wove a crown of thorns and put it on his head, and a reed in his right hand; and they knelt on their knees before him, and they were mocking him and saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

(KJV) And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!
