Translations

(Etheridge) But all this was done that there should be fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet, who said,

(Murdock) Now this whole occurrence was, that so might be fulfilled that which was spoken by the prophet, saying:

(Lamsa) All this happened, so that what was said by the prophet, might be fulfilled, who said,

(KJV) All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,
