Translations

(Etheridge) For I have come to cause a man to separate from ^{[To divide against.]} his father, and a daughter from her mother, and a daughter-in-law from her mother-in-law;

(Murdock) For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

(Lamsa) For I have come to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.

(KJV) For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
