Translations

(Etheridge) for the Son of man is not come to destroy lives, but to save. And they went to another village.

(Murdock) For the Son of man hath not come to destroy souls; but to quicken [them]. And they went to another village.

(Lamsa) For the Son of man did not come to destroy lives, but to save. And they went to another village.

(KJV) For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
