Luke 4:24 - ܗ݈ܘ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܐܶܡܰܪ ܐܰܡܺܝܢ ܐܳܡܰܪ ܐ݈ܢܳܐ ܠܟ݂ܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܠܰܝܬ݁ ܢܒ݂ܺܝܳܐ ܕ݁ܡܶܬ݂ܩܰܒ݁ܰܠ ܒ݁ܰܡܕ݂ܺܝܢ݈ܬ݁ܶܗ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) But he said, I tell you assuredly, There is no prophet who is received in his (own) city.

(Murdock) And he said to them: Verily I say to you, There is no prophet who is acceptable in his own city.

(Lamsa) Then he said, Truly I say to you, No prophet is acceptable in his own city.

(KJV) And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
