Luke 1:9 - ܒ݁ܰܥܝܳܕ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܟ݂ܳܗܢܽܘܬ݂ܳܐ ܡܛܳܝܗ݈ܝ ܕ݁ܰܢܣܺܝܡ ܒ݁ܶܣܡܶܐ ܘܥܰܠ ܠܗܰܝܟ݁ܠܶܗ ܕ݁ܡܳܪܝܳܐ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) according to the custom of the priesthood he came to set on incense, and entered into the temple of the Lord.

(Murdock) according to the usage of the priesthood, it fell to him to offer the incense. And he went into the temple of the Lord,

(Lamsa) According to the custom of the priesthood, his turn came to burn incense; so he entered the temple of the Lord.

(KJV) According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
