Translations

(Etheridge) Woe to you, Pharishee ! for you love the chief seats in the assemblies, and the salutation in the public places.

(Murdock) Woe to you, Pharisees! who love the chief seats in the synagogues, and a salutation in the streets.

(Lamsa) Woe to you Pharisees! for you love chief seats in the synagogues, and salutations in the streets.

(KJV) Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
