Translations

(Etheridge) And a certain priest happened to go down by that way, and he saw him and passed over.

(Murdock) And a certain priest went down by that way; and he saw him, and passed on.

(Lamsa) And it chanced a priest was going down that road; and he saw him and passed on.

(KJV) And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
