Translations

(Etheridge) For as the Father hath life in his person, ^{[Ba-knumeh, in his person or substance.]} so hath he given also to the Son to have life in his person,

(Murdock) For, as the Father hath life in himself, so hath he given to the Son also, to have life in himself:

(Lamsa) For as the Father has life in himself, even so he has given to the Son also to have life in himself.

(KJV) For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;
