(Lamsa) But the ship struck on a shoal between two deep places in the sea, and went aground; and the forward part rested upon the bottom and could not be moved, but the stern broke by the violence of the waves.

(KJV) And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained unmoveable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
