Translations

(Etheridge) And while there rose against us the hard tempest, the next day we threw the goods into the sea.

(Murdock) And as the storm raged violently upon us, we the next day threw goods into the sea.

(Lamsa) And as the violent storm raged against us, the next day we threw our belongings into the sea.

(KJV) And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next day they lightened the ship;
