Translations

(Etheridge) and (one who) ruleth his house well, holding his children in subjection with all purity.

(Murdock) and one that guideth well his own house, and holdeth his children in subjection with all purity.

(Lamsa) One who rules well his own household, and keeps his children under submission to bring them up with all purity.

(KJV) One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
