Translations

(Etheridge) Whoever saith, then, that he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness until now.

(Murdock) Whoever therefore shall say that he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness until now.

(Lamsa) He who says he is in the light but hates his brother, is therefore in darkness even until now.

(KJV) He that saith he is in the light, and hateth his brother, is in darkness even until now.
