Translations

(Etheridge) How are you willing ? with a rod shall I come to you, or with love and with the spirit of kindliness ?

(Murdock) What will ye? Shall I come to you with the rod, or with love and a gentle spirit ?

(Lamsa) Now what do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and in the spirit of meekness?

(KJV) What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?
