Romans 9:17 - ܐܶܡܰܪ ܓ݁ܶܝܪ ܒ݁ܰܟ݂ܬ݂ܳܒ݂ܳܐ ܠܦ݂ܶܪܥܽܘܢ ܕ݁ܠܳܗ ܠܗܳܕ݂ܶܐ ܐܰܩܺܝܡܬ݁ܳܟ݂ ܕ݁ܶܐܚܰܘܶܐ ܒ݁ܳܟ݂ ܚܰܝܠܝ ܘܰܕ݂ܢܶܬ݂ܟ݁ܪܶܙ ܫܶܡܝ ܒ݁ܰܐܪܥܳܐ ܟ݁ܽܠܶܗ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) For it is said in the scripture to Pherun, For this I have raised thee up, that I might show in thee my power, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

(Murdock) For in the scripture, he said to Pharaoh: For this very thing, have I raised thee up; that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.

(Lamsa) For in the scripture, he said to Pharaoh, It was for this purpose that I have appointed you, that I might shew my power in you, so that my name might be preached throughout all the earth.

(KJV) For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that my name might be declared throughout all the earth.
