Translations

(Etheridge) For what I work, I know ^{[Or, acknowledge, approve.]} not; and not that which I will, I do; but what I hate, that I do.

(Murdock) For what I am doing, I know not: and what I would, I do not perform; but what I hate, that I do.

(Lamsa) For I do not know what I do: and I do not do the thing which I want, but I do the thing which I hate. That is exactly what I do.

(KJV) For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
