Translations

(Etheridge) FOR not through the law was the promise unto Abraham and to his seed that he should be the heir of the world, but through the righteousness of faith.

(Murdock) For the promise to Abraham and to his seed, that he should become the heir of the world, was not by the law, but by the righteousness of his faith.

(Lamsa) For the promise to Abraham and his seed that he should inherit the world was not made through the law, but through the righteousness of his faith.

(KJV) For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.
