Translations

(Etheridge) But I say unto you, that you shall not rise up against evil: but if any one strike thee on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.

(Murdock) But I say to you: Resist not evil; but if a person smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.

(Lamsa) But I say to you, that you should not resist evil; but whoever strikes you on your right cheek, turn to him the other also.

(KJV) But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
