Translations

(Etheridge) Then be glad and exult, for your reward is great in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.

(Murdock) At that time, rejoice and be glad: for your reward in heaven is great. For so they persecuted the prophets that were before you.

(Lamsa) Then be glad and rejoice, for your reward is increased in heaven; for in this very manner they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

(KJV) Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
