Matthew 27:15 - ܒ݁ܟ݂ܽܠ ܥܺܐܕ݂ܳܐ ܕ݁ܶܝܢ ܡܥܳܕ݂ ܗ݈ܘܳܐ ܗܺܓ݂ܡܽܘܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܢܶܫܪܶܐ ܐܰܣܺܝܪܳܐ ܚܰܕ݂ ܠܥܰܡܳܐ ܐܰܝܢܳܐ ܕ݁ܗܶܢܽܘܢ ܨܳܒ݂ܶܝܢ ܗ݈ܘܰܘ ܀

Translations

(Etheridge) Now at every festival the governor was accustomed to release one of the bound unto the people, whomsoever they would.

(Murdock) And at each festival, the president was accustomed to release to the people one prisoner, such as they preferred.

(Lamsa) Now on every feast day it was the custom of the governor to release one prisoner to the people, anyone whom they wanted.

(KJV) Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.
